Rocio was general manager at McCann-Erickson and Leo Burnett Dominican Inc. During her years in the advertising business she supervised and managed world known brands as Nestlé, MasterCard, Cadbury, Coca-Cola, Verizon, Kelloggs, P & G, Pepsico, Peugot, Samsung, Philip Morris, Scotiabank , American Airlines and local brands as Domicem, Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana, Banco Popular, Empresas León Jimenes, Banco de Reservas Dominicano and Ministry of Tourism
Our dear Co-founder, Waldo Tejada is a photographer and artist graduated from the prestigious Cooper Union School of Art in New York. He began his career in marketing and advertising, working for more than a decade as creative director for Leo Burnett and later A + E, a company founded by him in 2001 and for which he was General Manager. During his years in advertising, Waldo created numerous campaigns for local and international clients such as Phillips Morris, P & G, Miller Brewery, Tabacalera Fuente and Dominican National Brewery.
A real Jack-of-all-trades, Waldo is an avid community worker interested in emerging social responsible business and cultural enterprises. Involved in community development through cultural identity, local history and its international promotion. Waldo has dedicated the last decade to the promotion of sustainable tourism in the Dominican Republic.

Michelle Polanco executes new developments, collaborates on marketing and customer service efforts, while building relationships with associations, clubs, organizations, groups and showcasing the exceptional services Tequia offers on vacation trips.
Growing up, Michelle happily spent every summer in Dominican Republic until she went to college. While at NYU, she was Vice President of Bella Quisqueya, a club at NYU that she helped organize and sustain. The club focuses on the diverse Dominican cultural dynamics and its modern influences from a Dominican-American perspective. Since then, Michelle's adventurous spirit and love for travel have found a home to flourish in at Tequia. She is very passionate about sharing unforgettable experiences with other people in the paradise that makes her feel "alive".
As a communications professional, Natacha offers extensive experience working with the U.S. Hispanic market across many industries, including consumer, beauty, non-profit, telecommunications, food and beverage, health care and live entertainment. She founded Alma Emprenderora to voice the needs of thousands of Latinas living in the U.S. that have an entrepreneurial soul and can’t find quality content that speaks to their needs and sophisticated and upscale lifestyle. She is also the founder of Azúcar Communications, a PR and Influencer Marketing company servicing Latinos in New York City.
Prior to founding Azúcar Communications, Natacha worked at Porter Novelli, where she engineered and managed PR, digital and social media campaigns for Gillette, The Nature Conservancy, Merck, Neutrogena, and SoyJoy. Her dedication and commitment to delivering great results to her clients shows in 2012, when the “Yo Soy (I am)” campaign was nominated as one of the “Top 3 Advertising Digital Campaign Plan & Execution” by Portada Magazine and “PR On a Shoestring” at the first annual PR Daily Awards.
She was a key member of GlobalHue, the largest multicultural agency. There, she worked on the Verizon Wireless and FiOs accounts, where she managed new product launches and integrated marketing campaigns via multi-channel approach that connected brands to their target audience based on culturally relevant insights.
Natacha understands the power of market research, strategy and planning for a campaign’s success and killer content. Her career started at Young & Rubicam Miami, working with brands such as Dell Computers, Hershey’s, Bayer’s Mirena, Accenture and Chevron-Texaco for which she was awarded the IAC (Internet Advertising Competition) award for “Best Energy Online Campaign.”
Now, she uses all her knowledge to create content that empowers Latinas in the US in her digital magazine Alma Emprendedora.
Our Operations Coordinator, Arisleyda Rosario, has a degree in Hotel and Tourism Management and a Post-graduate in Hotel Management receiving both titles from UNAPEC. She has a versatile personality, candid and dedicated. Recognized by our clients and peers for her affable personality, commitment and sense of cooperation. With great interest in spiritual and cultural aspects, loves dancing and spending time with friends and family. Arisleyda enjoys planning our groups’ experiences in a very personal manner as if they were family and old friends
Ramon H. Paulino, Has a degree in Business Administration from PUCMM, a Post-Graduate degree in Business Administration and Management from Florida International University, and Associate degree in international Business from Tompkins Cortland Community College, Dryden NY. He is responsible for Client Relations and all the financial matter of our Agency. He has work for Esso Standard Oil, The Doug Williams Group in Miami Fl, and Restaurants in the Dominican Republic. He has a friendly and social personality.
